I also tried the Magic Merlin suit but it was so big on him we never got to use it (you're not supposed to use it once they start rolling, either). We had the arms up swaddles but he wasn't a fan. My son LOVED being swaddled in his muslin blankets from birth to 2 months, and then in the Velcro SwaddleMe's until he started rolling at 3 months. And while I know these are more of an investment than other sleep sacks, again we have had ours for over three years, I have used them with two kids and we have two, which is the perfect amount for us.We tried every type of swaddle because I was so paranoid about not getting sleep once I returned to work 3 months PP. The customer service has always been really great, too.

Something really cool – Nested Bean allows for 60-day returns and provides you with free sleep advice with your purchase. But I will tell you that there is a noticeable difference in the amount of time that R will sleep on his own when he’s wearing and using the Nested Bean Zen Sack. I’m not saying the Nested Bean sleep sacks are going to solve world hunger or anything like that. The only giveaway that they are 3+ years old is the little stains here and there. Both of ours are over three years old and are still perfect. We throw our Nested Bean sleep sacks in the washing machine on a cold cycle, and hang or lay them flat to dry. And two rows of snaps on the shoulders means it grows with your baby! Washing and Care Instructions: A two-way zipper means that you can undo just a baby’s legs for middle of the night diaper changes really easily. Nested Bean Zen Sack’s are super easy to use. So if you’ve got sweaty babies as I do, it comes in handy.

Plus the bamboo is naturally antimicrobial and moisture-wicking. The cotton is a TOG 0.5 and the Premier bamboo is a TOG 0.3 which is the lightest weight and great for if you live in a warm climate. But if you live in a place that gets cold the winter fabric is TOG 2.5. We have one of the bamboo and one cotton because living in California it never really gets that cold. So no matter what the weather is like where you are, there’s a Nested Bean Zen Sack that will work. And three different fabric types: bamboo, cotton, and winter. There are three sizes: small (7-18lbs), medium (16-26lbs), and large (26-36lbs).

Turn on your JavaScript to view content Nested Bean Zen Sack Looking to save money on your Nested Bean swaddle and/or sleep sack – grab a bundle! I almost don’t know what to do with myself with free arms. This week and last week he has actually let me put him down! Which is amazing. Just like with J, I was at the point where I was willing to try anything. Otherwise, he wakes up the second we put him down.Ī few weeks ago I remembered that we had Nested Bean weighted sleep sacks in a box and pulled them out. If he’s on the boob or I’m holding him, he can conk out pretty much anywhere. R is nowhere near as bad of a sleeper as J was. But when you have been attempting to function on quite literally minutes of sleep here and there, a two-hour stretch feels pretty incredible. Is the Nested Bean Sleep Sack Worth it? A Zen Sack Reviewįrom the very first use, J went from like 30 minutes of sleep to about two to three hours. Well, we ended up liking it so much we bought an additional Zen Sack and they quickly became some of our favorites.

At that point, I was desperate and willing to try anything. I think it was one of my 2 AM Instagram story crying sessions where Nested Bean reached out and offered to send me a sleep sack. He was fine as long as someone was touching or holding him.

Also known as their Zen Sack.ĭepending on how long you’ve been following me you know that J my middle kiddo was quite literally the world‘s worst sleeper. But one we’ve been using for over three years now is the Nested Bean sleep sack. I know there are 1 million different sleep sacks out there.
